Anime Zero Weapon Guide

Last updated 2026-10-05Unofficial player article

Learn Anime Zero weapon kits, test basic attacks and abilities, and give both equipment slots a purpose before investing in upgrades.

Anime Zero weapons define how you attack, move and spend ability windows. Equip two weapons, learn what each kit does, and choose a pair you can use reliably before chasing a community ranking.

This showcase illustrates different attack shapes. Treat its early-access footage as a demonstration of individual kits; check the released game's interface for the equipment and upgrade options available to you.

Learn the kit before investing

A weapon has basic attacks, three regular abilities and an evolution-dependent ultimate. The attacks can differ in reach, speed, movement and the area they cover. A weapon with a strong reputation still needs a usable rotation: an attack that misses a moving boss contributes less than one you can consistently land.

Try basic attacks and each regular ability separately during a manageable Story run. Watch where the hit lands and whether using it moves your character into danger. Then combine the abilities in a short sequence, leaving room to reposition when enemies attack. Follow the displayed evolution requirements before expecting the ultimate to be unlocked.

Give the second weapon a purpose

The released equipment loop uses two weapon slots and switching between the equipped weapons. Your second slot should answer a problem you actually encounter. If your first kit struggles to reach enemies safely, compare the other kit's movement and reach. If you already clear groups comfortably, test how the second weapon feels against a boss instead.

Compare progress at the same investment

Weapons also receive individual progression through the skill tree. Comparing an upgraded weapon against a newly obtained one can confuse investment with kit strength. Record which upgrades each has before deciding that one is unusable. Spend toward the problem you are solving, such as slow clears or frequent deaths, and retest the same mode.

Use the weapon list to identify discussed weapons and weapon comparison to structure a fair test. If your immediate goal is acquiring another option, read how to get weapons.
