First session

Anime Zero Beginner Guide: Finish Your First Dungeon

Aim for a repeatable first clear. Learn your owned kit, select a manageable Story difficulty, and bring rewards back to the lobby before spending again.

Session goal Complete one dungeon, identify the part that slowed you down, and spend only on an upgrade that addresses it.

From lobby to a reliable clearPrepare in the lobby, clear the dungeon, then choose one improvement from the result.

  1. Read your kit before entering

    New account or unfamiliar weapon

    • Inspect the attacks on your owned weapon. Equip the available second slot if you want another moveset during the run.
    • Read the quest board. An objective that overlaps your first dungeon can give the same run an extra purpose.
  2. Use Story to learn the controls

    First dungeon attempt

    • Choose a difficulty you can complete with current upgrades. Another creator’s quick Nightmare clear does not set your opening difficulty.
    • Use basic attacks alongside numbered abilities. Watch where they land and move out of danger while cooldowns recover.
  3. Clear the room, then face the boss

    Inside the dungeon

    • Group nearby enemies for area attacks. If progression stops, find remaining enemies before assuming the barrier is broken.
    • Give yourself space to see boss attacks. Spend a safe window on abilities that reach the target, using the ultimate when its meter is ready.
  4. Return with one upgrade decision

    Back in the lobby

    • Claim completed quests and inspect your rewards. A resource earned once does not establish a guaranteed drop.
    • Keep a reliable kit. After a failed run, name the problem before buying a tree node, reroll or accessory.
Keep the first comparison simple

Change one upgrade at a time, then repeat the same dungeon and difficulty to see what improved.

Community comparison

Anime Zero Tier List for Dungeon Weapons

Four weapons span the community’s S, A, B and C grades. Compare an owned kit’s attacks before spending on a replacement.

Source-published community rankingCommunity grades, practical kit checks

Grades reproduce Dunia Games’ community arsenal ordering. Editorial notes use gameplay showcases; this is not a developer ranking.

  • Ability coverage against groups
  • Usable damage windows against bosses
  • Fit with your current upgrade investment
GradeWeapon kitObserved kit featuresDecision for your next run
S
CataclysmMiyabi-inspired sword kit
Observed kit features
  • Forward-moving attacks
  • Broad sword slash and an ultimate
Decision for your next run

Already own Cataclysm? Use its forward attack to reach the wave, then compare enemies hit by the slash. Keep it if that sequence clears the room more reliably.

A
Immortal SovereignAlucard-inspired kit
Observed kit features
  • Sigil-themed abilities
  • A forward charge shown in gameplay
Decision for your next run

Enemies interrupt your basic attacks? Try the charge during a clear opening. Retain the kit if you can reach targets and return to a safe position more consistently.

B
Cursed KingSukuna-inspired kit
Observed kit features
  • Slashing basic attacks and a barrage
  • A shrine-style ultimate
Decision for your next run

A boss survives your ordinary rotation? Save a safe opening for the barrage and charged ultimate. Invest further if the boss fight improves without adding failed runs.

C
Thunder ProdigyLightning-themed kit
Observed kit features
  • Barrage-style first ability
  • Shockwave-style second ability
Decision for your next run

Using Thunder Prodigy in early rooms? Aim the shockwave into the group and check how many enemies it catches. Keep a working starter until an owned replacement improves that same room.

Community grades and creator preferences can disagree. This preview leaves disputed rates, pity and exact damage unconfirmed; balance changes can alter kit value.

Loadout decisions

Anime Zero Weapons: Build a Two-Kit Rotation

Give each of your two equipped kits a purpose. Anime Zero lets you switch the active weapon during a run; choose the attacks that fit the current room rather than two names with high grades.

Assign jobs from the attacks you own

Compare reach and coverage in a familiar dungeon. One kit might catch groups while the other offers a safe boss sequence. Assign those jobs from observed attacks; do not assume a hidden synergy bonus.

  • For waves, count enemies hit by the ability. A long animation that misses the group does not solve coverage.
  • For the boss, use a sequence you can finish in a safe opening. Damage that repeatedly gets you hit is not a reliable improvement.

Switch with a purpose

  1. 01
    Read the active kit

Check which weapon and skill set are active before pressing numbered abilities. Gameplay uses T to switch; follow any current control prompts if your client differs.

  2. 02
    Spend a useful opening

Land the sequence that fits the target, then reassess. Switch for a useful attack, rather than an impressive animation or community grade.

  3. 03
    Select the next answer

When the room changes or the first sequence leaves you waiting, select the other equipped kit. Check whether its attacks give you useful coverage instead of another missed window.

Judge the pairing by a repeated run

Repeat the same stage, difficulty and upgrades. Keep a pairing that smooths wave clears or boss windows. If both kits miss the same targets, change one slot before buying two sets of upgrades. Compare missed attacks, idle time and deaths.

DecisionKeep the pair that performs its two jobs; change one slot when a specific job remains unsolved.
Mode selection

Anime Zero Dungeons: Choose a Mode for Your Next Run

Choose the objective before difficulty. Story, Infinite and Defend ask different things of an Anime Zero loadout. Read the live panel, then decide what the attempt should prove; this comparison does not establish a best resource rate.

Defend

What the run asks
Protect the target from incoming enemies. Gameplay shows a store attack warning; your own survival does not establish that the objective is safe.
When it is useful
Choose an objective-protection challenge. Removing nearby threats can help more than chasing an enemy far from the defended target.
What to check next
Return when the objective is under attack. If it fails while you survive, change positioning and threat priorities. If you die while guarding it, check difficulty and survival upgrades.

Infinite

What the run asks
Continue through waves and boss encounters. The display tracks progress; a creator stopping at wave 20 does not establish a cap.
When it is useful
Check how a loadout handles successive waves and rising pressure. Set a session target rather than copying another player’s endpoint.
What to check next
Note the wave where coverage or survival becomes inconsistent. Repeat with the same setup before judging one failure. Adjust that bottleneck, then compare progress under similar conditions.

Story

What the run asks
Clear the act’s rooms and finish its boss. This is a defined route with groups, barriers and an end encounter.
When it is useful
Use a familiar act to learn a kit or compare an upgrade. Keeping the route fixed makes the result easier to interpret.
What to check next
If waves clear but the boss ends the run, work on safe damage windows or survival. If a room stops progress, find remaining enemies. Raise difficulty after the current clear becomes reliable.
Upgrade diagnosis

Anime Zero Skills: Fix Slow Clears or Repeated Deaths

Name the failure before spending. Anime Zero’s tree offers attack, critical, defense and speed choices; traits and enchants are separate modifiers. Damage, survival and spending problems need different checks.

Waves live through your rotation

You stay alive, but rooms take too long and enemies remain after your abilities finish.

What to investigateUnderdeveloped stats or attacks missing the group can both slow a clear. A rarity change alone does not identify the cause.

Check the attack first
Aim an area attack into the group in a familiar room. If it misses, correct positioning or the relevant kit before buying damage.
Read the selected tree
Inspect the active weapon’s tree and current attack or critical nodes. Invest toward the observed gap, then repeat that room at the same difficulty.
Evaluate the result
Keep a change that reduces ability cycles without increasing failures. Otherwise revisit coverage before spending rerolls on the same unsolved problem.

Damage is adequate, but you keep dying

You clear enemies quickly when attacks land, then lose the attempt while waiting or standing near the boss.

What to investigatePositioning, difficulty and survival stats are candidates. More damage may leave an unsafe boss opening unchanged.

Find the dangerous moment
Identify the hit: a boss attack, ranged enemy chase or downtime after abilities. Change that movement or timing on the next run.
Match the stat to the symptom
Read defense and speed options in the live tree. Consider survival investment if the timing fix is insufficient; this guide assumes no specific breakpoint or reduction formula.
Use completion as the measure
Compare deaths and completed runs at the same difficulty. A slower clear can earn progression more reliably than repeated fast failures.

Rerolls consume resources without a clear benefit

You keep replacing modifiers, but cannot explain what outcome the next roll is meant to improve.

What to investigateCombat traits and Fortune-style progression bonuses serve different goals. A useful farming modifier may not solve a boss-damage problem.

Read the modifier and target
Read the current modifier and choose a goal: combat consistency, survival or resource collection. Decide traits and enchants separately.
Set the reserve first
Set a limit from the actual reroll resource, preserving your other planned upgrade. Stop at that limit; budget math cannot predict a trait.
Keep a useful result
Keep a result that serves the named goal. These sources establish no universal reroll budget or guaranteed replacement.
Equipment planning

Anime Zero Accessories: Plan a Craft Before Farming

Start at the crafting panel. Anime Zero accessories can affect combat or progression, but the useful next craft depends on the live recipe, owned materials and a specific problem.

Choose and budget

Identify one recipe and its missing requirements.

  1. 1

    Read the complete recipe

Read the desired item’s material names, quantities and currency cost. Compare them with inventory before farming. Unverified recipe quantities remain unknown here.

Ready whenYou can identify every missing requirement from the live panel.
  2. 2

    Protect resources needed elsewhere

Check whether the cost competes with another planned upgrade. Keep that reserve and separate resource types. If two crafts need the same material, prioritize the one tied to your current bottleneck.

DecisionOne accessory remains the immediate target, with its cost understood.

Farm, craft and compare

Use the finished item to check the intended improvement.

  1. 3

    Farm the actual missing requirement

Read the game’s current material information and run a mode that supplies the missing requirement. Check inventory after each clear. One reward does not prove a guaranteed drop or fixed number of runs.

Progress checkThe missing quantity decreases and the recipe is still the current one.
  2. 4

Equip the craft and repeat the target run

Confirm the item is equipped and read its bonus. Repeat your target run with comparable weapons, difficulty and modifiers. Check the intended outcome: fewer deaths, smoother ability use or the relevant resource gain.

Keep it whenThe equipped bonus addresses the problem that justified the craft.
Objective planning

Anime Zero Quests: Turn Objectives into Useful Rewards

Read the board before a session. Anime Zero quest guidance describes boss and Coin-spending objectives alongside ordinary play. These scenarios are decision patterns, not a fixed schedule shared by every account.

A boss objective matches your next dungeon

Your planned Story route contains the encounter named by the current objective.

Before entering
Check the exact boss, mode and conditions. A similar encounter name does not establish that it counts.
  • Finish the required encounter on a route you can clear. Raise difficulty only if the objective requires it.
  • Check recorded progress in the quest interface. If it did not count, compare the wording with the completed encounter before repeating the assumption.

The objective asks you to spend Coins

A spending task competes with Coins reserved for an upgrade or craft.

Budget first
Read the remaining objective and protect the planned purchase. An unnecessary expense can cost more than the reward helps.
  • Make a necessary purchase if its resource matches the live objective, then check progress.
  • If the remaining spend would break your reserve, postpone it until normal progression gives you a clearer budget.

A reward is ready while you are saving resources

The objective is complete, and you are planning rolls, rerolls or a craft.

Read the reward
Read the actual currency or item. Gems, Coins, materials and rerolls are separate balances.
  • Claim the reward and inspect that resource’s actual balance.
  • Compare the current cost, reserve and target. Calculate one resource at a time; affordable attempts do not predict roll outcomes.

Questions Before You Use the Wiki

Is this the official Anime Zero website?

This is an independent fan resource. The footer links to the verified Roblox experience, LY* community, developer profile and official Discord. Use those official channels for game support, purchases and announcements; this site cannot change an account or grant a reward.

Why are some dates and numbers left unconfirmed?

An experience creation timestamp is not a public release announcement. Conflicting reward amounts, recipe quantities, roll rates and patch claims remain unconfirmed until the available evidence supports them. The source-check date describes this wiki’s review, rather than a promise that every live server has identical data.

Do I need to sign in to use these tools?

You can read the wiki and use the resource calculator without a Roblox login. Copying a code places text on your device’s clipboard; redeem it only inside the real game. Never send a password, security cookie or account recovery code to a fan site or another player.
