Anime Zero Traits: Weapon Modifiers and Their Purpose
Learn where Anime Zero traits apply, compare documented combat and progression effects, and decide whether an active modifier supports the next run.
Anime Zero traits are passive modifiers applied to the selected weapon. Their purpose can differ: some support damage and combat handling, while others support experience, coins and drops. Read the active modifier on the weapon you actually equip before deciding it needs replacing.
This gameplay shows the trait interface within the lobby's progression systems.
Identify which weapon receives the trait
Open the trait or enchant station and inspect the selected weapon. Read its current modifier and description. Switching between two equipped weapons does not mean both have identical passive bonuses, so keep the weapon name in your comparison notes.
Traits do not replace learning the kit's attacks. If your abilities miss or move you into danger, fix that execution problem alongside any modifier choice. A damage bonus helps attacks that connect; it is not a substitute for positioning.
Match the modifier to a purpose
| Trait | Documented purpose | Useful decision |
|---|---|---|
| Power | Damage-oriented | Consider whether early damage is the problem |
| Hunter | Damage-oriented | Compare its displayed effect with the current modifier |
| Bloodlust | Combat stat bonuses | Evaluate it for fighting rather than only resource gain |
| Supernova | Damage, cooldown and attack-speed bonuses | Inspect how the combined effects suit the kit |
| Fortune | Experience, coins and drops | Consider it for progression when the route already clears safely |
The table lists reviewed examples and broad effects. Exact percentages vary across reports, so use the index displayed in your session for the numeric comparison. It does not claim to be the full live trait roster.
Keep a useful modifier while progressing
Decide what the next activity needs before rolling again. If you already clear a farming route, a progression bonus may serve the goal. If enemies stop you from completing it, a combat modifier can deserve more attention. Review the cost and remaining balance before replacing an effect that already helps.
Read trait rerolls for the replacement process. If a guide calls the station an enchanter, the enchants page explains that terminology.
Read the current node or modifier text in the official Anime Zero experience before spending the resource shown by that panel.
